Ramblin' Wrecked: UConn, P Davis bring the noise
updated: 04.06.04

UConn ran Georgia Tech out of the Alamodome on Monday night, and Paul "Don't Call Me Paul" Davis ran away with the 2004 Big Dance booty. Davis was almost perfect with his Final Four, missing only the Georgia Tech-Oklahoma State game. Toby Aeilts and Jon Wahlund split the runner-up money.

San Antonio all set
updated: 03.29.04
The last time the city of San Antonio hosted the Final Four in 1998, the Riverwalk saw Kentucky, North Carolina, Utah, Stanford - and the San Antonio jail saw some former Cardinal hoopers (but that's a story for another time, another place). San Antonio will see none of the above in 2003. Duke, UConn, Georgia Tech and Oklahoma State will be on hand to settle the Big Dance '04 pool.

The Wildcats of Kentucky, the Bulldogs of Gonzaga and Mississippi State, and the Cardinal on Stanford. Gone. Done. Parting gifts. Thanks. Bye.

Game on
updated: 03.14.04
Selection Sunday has come and gone. It will be followed by a cup of coffee during jammed-copy-machine Monday, then it's on to the Dance.

The Big Dance pool returns for '04, bigger and better than ever, with as many as five defending champions - including a Muff, a Hooker, and a Buzz - and the grandson of Committee chairman Al McGuire, set to submit their brackets.
